I moved to Charlotte from the northeast about a year ago and I embarked upon a major renovation with Stuart Brown Custom Construction. The renovation included a completely new kitchen, butler’s pantry, laundry and mud room and pantry. The second floor encompassed a completely redesigned master bathrooms and two guest bathrooms. Also included in the renovation was painting the entire home, addressing HVAC and plumbing and any and all electrical. The entire job took approximately six months. My home went from builder grade to over the top! Stu and his team were always courteous and professional. Any mishaps (which were very few) were addressed in a timely fashion and were always executed to my complete satisfaction. Stu was at my home every morning to go over the plans for the day and the week. His wife, Lisa, is his closest team member and is always available to answer any and all questions. In 2007 we hired Stu Brown to do some remodeling on a home that we purchased. There was an extension added to the back of the home that became a large walk-in master bedroom closet. The home had an older deck but we wanted to add a screen porch and a deck to it. Stu worked closely with our architect to create a beautiful outdoor area. He suggested many things to help make the area look better.

We had known Stu personally for several years as a friend of our sons and knew that he was an honest, straightforward and “nice” young man. During the building process, we came to admire his business abilities also. He returned calls, he responded to concerns we had and found solutions, and was at the site several times each day to oversee the work being done.
